Roger Rude III has a new job!

Just wanted to drop a line to let everyone know that I have recently taken a new position as the Marketing Director for Eureka Homestead here in New Orleans, LA.

Eureka Homestead is Louisiana's oldest and has been around since 1884. This will be a challenging position for me and I look forward to it.

Colleen and I continue to do well. She has a 24 hour layover in Raleigh this weekend so I will be traveling with her to spend some time away from home on this Memorial Day weekend.

Our family has exploded in the fast year with over 7 new additions and more on the way. We have adopted five rabbits and 2 ducks. Colleen and her family had ducks, rabbits, dogs, cats, squirrels, goats, horses and alligators as pets when she was a kid so she is right at home with this (plus she loves working in the yard so the cleanup is all on her). Fret not though, we will NOT be getting an alligator as a pet. I have to draw the line somewhere.

Have a great Memorial Day weekend and spend a few moments reflecting on all those who have given their lives in service to this country over the years.

God bless you all!

Hi Roger, hope your new position is going well. So many rabbits! Do you keep them in separate cages? A pet alligator does have an omnimus ring to it.

Years ago Mary got two rats from the pet store and they had babies. :-( Rats are very smart and we liked having them.

Mary and Emily are both home now, looking for jobs. We recently had a family vacation in Orlando and and appreciated Becky joining us for a few days.

Hello to Colleen. Take care, Susan
