We live at 30 Sandy Brook Drive, and Sandy Brook is behind our house. The cat (Nellie) and I are looking at it right now. It's pretty small, except in the spring when it rains and the snow melts. When we were looking at a house to buy Aug. 1984, Mary says let's buy this house because of the stream and we are glad we did. Nice quiet street. Of course, Stow in general is pretty quiet.
Harold and I are looking forward to Mary and Emily being home for Christmas. Going to a Boston Pops Christmas concert on the 26th.
Harold works for Raytheon in Marlborough, about a 15 min. commute. I work as the secretary of a small United Church of Christ in Stow. Make the weekly bulletins, monthly newsletters, and the only job I don't like...the annual report. I can do most of the work at home which is nice.
Glad to have more contact with everyone. You are welcome to see Sandy Brook yourself. Merry Christmas! -Susan

Word. When are we going to get some visitors in Stow, hmm?
You know, Claudia and I would LOVE to come visit the "Stow" Rudes. We talked a lot about heading up there for last Christmas, but because of Claudia's father's health, and because my mother needed the company, I ended up in Ohio (surprise, surprise).
I also wanted to mention to Sue that I have set up her account to this blog with administrative privledges. I figure since she loves to share photos, and because of the plethora of photos that she has online, that this would be a good place to show some of them off!
Becky, hmmmm...I wonder if you should have mentioned pictures. :-) I was going to put some of your baby pictures (the few that I have) but was inspired by Francois. When I first started dating Harold, my Aunt Esther told me about Francois Rude. Do you think our Rudes look like him?
Actually, I think the picture of Francois does resemble some of the Rude clan - the nose and the cheek bones look kind of familiar, but its hard to get a good idea of the face with all that beard!!!
